Our new Lighter Weight ATV/RTV Utility Vehicle Cattle Guard is built like no other in the industry and comes with features usually only seen in larger full size vehicle cattle guards. Our ATV/RTV Utility Cattle Guard is a full 8' wide X 6' Across.

Our Utility Vehicle Cattle Guard is ideal for Hunting Leases, Ranches, Farms or any place where access for ATV's or RTV's is needed. Installation can be done in any one of three ways as explained on our ATV Cattle Guard Installation page.

Note:  Our ATV/RTV Cattle Guard comes complete with anchor stakes to keep your new cattle guard in place. Unlike other manufacturers of Utility Cattle Guards we provide anchor stakes to keep your guard exactly where you placed it preventing fences from possibly being damaged where the guard is tied in. Anyone that owns cattle knows that cattle like to rub, scratch and push against anything they can find and our RTV/ATV Cattle Guard is no exception.

Guard is built to accept these All Terrain & Rough Terrain Vehicles:   4 wheel All-terrain/ Rough Terrain Vehicles, Most Jeep Utility Vehicles, Farm Tractors with less than 6' outside tire to tire widths and most Mini Utility Vehicles.

Safety:   This guard was designed with safety as a number one priority. Starting with the ramps base, we placed the cross treads below the 1 1/2" X 3" Tubing so there is a 3" curb to aid in preventing tires from leaving the ramp off the side, no other ATV Cattle Guard has this option. We also added a optional 12" high Guard Rail that insures the vehicles tires cannot leave the ramps surface.

ATV/RTV Cattle Guard Features: (ATV - All terrain Vehicle,  RTV - Rough Terrain Vehicle)

• Heavy Duty Construction - Main Frame built from 1 1/2" x 3" Rectangular Steel Tubing with 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" Square tubing cross treads. Trussed Sub Frame - What makes our ATV/RTV Cattle Guard different from other manufacturers is that we fully truss the and reinforce the bottom of our guard which actually makes our guard more like a bridge as only the four corners touch the ground.

• Built in Safety Features - No other Utility Cattle Guard in the industry comes with safety features that prevent the vehicle from driving off the side and becoming wedged in the guard.

• Galvanized Side Pipe Wings -  No worries about scratching paint when tying and pulling fence wire back into the Guards built in side wings as we use Galvanized 2" OD Pipe. The rounded pipe surface makes stretching fence wires a breeze and prevents premature rusting of fence wire.

• Four Point Base -  Unlike other manufacturers our ATV/RTV Cattle Guard sits on four corner plates to reduce the problems of  rust out from contact with damp ground making the Guard last far longer than most other Guards.

• Anchor Stakes -  ATV/RTV Cattle Guards should be anchored whenever possible for several reasons. 1. Cattle love to scratch and rub on anything they can find and a Cattle Guard is no exception. Cattle can actually push or scoot the guard if not properly anchored and cause damage to fencing. 2. Vehicles can actually push the guard if entering the guard at higher than normal speeds which can also cause damage to fencing. 3. In order to properly stretch the fencing after the guard has been positioned in place, anchoring the guard prevents the guard from sliding along the ground as fence wire is pulled tight.

• Built in Pick-up Loops - Placing the ATV/RTV Cattle Guard in place is extremely easy when using a front end loader as we built in four Hoops allowing straps or chains to be used for lifting and setting the guard in place.

• Capped Tube Ends - All tube ends are capped to prevent wasp and hornets from building nest inside. This also just makes for a better finished product.

ATV/RTV Cattle Guard Options:  Must be ordered before the guard is built

• Custom Signs:  Trail Closed, Road Closed, Trail Name Sign, No Entry, Authorized Personnel Only, "No Pedestrian Traffic", No Trespassing Or your own wording.

• Hinged Closure Gate :  Swing down style Railroad Crossing gate. Pad-locks to prevent unauthorized entry. Locks in both Open and Closed Position. Painted Bright Florescent Orange and marked with reflective tape. A Safety must for ATV night time use.

Our Standard Utility Cattle Guard is a wide 6' 6" wide inside dimension (from curb to curb) and is 8' from one side of ramp to the other as you drive across.

Base by itself is 6' 12" wide

The total width from wing to wing is 9' 8"
